Looks like the Camp Sunshine will happening again this year... Saturday August 21st for the morning, have lunch and then they are going to Magic springs for the afternoon...

I wasn't there last year but heard it was a really great event! Let's try to make it again this year!!

Requirements to take a passenger during this event will be:

* seat belts for each passenger
* roll cage
* fire extinguisher
* first aid kit

No 4 wheeler passengers...

As I get more details I will let you know...

:wallbash: If it has a top it doesn't need a roll bar... only topless rides need to have some kind of protection in case of a roll over...

Mark me down for it, I was at last years & it was very enjoyable. I thought they were going to try to schedule a full day of riding for the youngsters this year, what happened with that?

I'm guessing the powers to be decided to not do that... The kids were the ones wanting it.

Are these kids burn victims? I would love to do something like this, count me in! Having been a burn victim myself I can understand that anything that can take their minds off that is a good thing. I would really enjoy seeing some kids smile and knowing that I helped make them smile.

Yes it's for children that are burn victims... Everyone raved about how good it was last year.. I was out of town or I would have made it....

Count me in. It really was a blast last year and the kid I had was hilarious espically going down twin falls :lol: I think there should be a grandfather clause in case we actually have to many rigs show this year those of us that helped last year get first dibbs on a passenger :D :thumbup: they said we would get a full day but I guess it didn't work that way but what they did last year was the kids who wanted to come back could and they got to ride in the bigger rigs maybe they will again this year.

its for them in all.... Plus if they are forced into something that is supposed to be fun, i doubt they have fun with it then.

It was a good time last year and a great cause of course. Between the two girls riding with me squealing every time we hit a bump and the two guys tryin to impress the gals it was comical. I do think I'll wear some earplugs if I go this year though.

it was just a joke... you must not have went last year bc they lined us up in rows and kinda threw the kids at us lol. i was making reference to where last year they said the order for the kids was arkansas crawlers then msj then nonmembers if any were left so this year i was saying those of us that helped last year should go first. just trying to be clear. :D

Doesnt matter to me. I had a chaperone ride with me. Younger girl. She had a ball, untill we got up on Brandons run and she had to pee. Poor girl said "Ive never pee'd outside before" So Amanda got out and gave her "find a tree 101". Was a awesome time, but i really wanted a kiddo on board. KG was in the back and would have kept em company. This year I am demanding a kid!!
